Technical communiqués, concerning the instructions that financial reporting entities must follow in order to conduct the annual external audit, are now available in the “Applicable Technical Communiqués” section.
You can now find, in the “other publications” section, a new version of the guide on beneficial ownership. This new version is updated in line with the legislation in force in terms of AML/CFT and the current International standards, and replaces the March 2019 version.
The technical communiqués CT-06/2020, regarding the update of the FATF’s list of high-risk countries; and CT-07/2020, which repeals CT-04/2014 regarding the adoption of enhanced measures related to Bosnia and Herzegovina, are now available in the Applicable Technical Communiqués section.
A new technical communiqué (CT-05/2020), regarding the update of the European Union’s list on high-risk third countries, is now available in the "Applicable Technical Communiqués" section.
Pursuant to previous communications and considering the exeptional measures still in force, the UIFAND informs that the current opening hours (from 8 to 15 hours) remain until December, 31.
Telematic channels will still be prioritized regarding communications. If attending the UIFAND premises is necessary, it will be mandatory to comply with the current security rules, that is, obligation to wear masks, keep social distance and not exceed the capacity limit.

Today the UIFAND has made available to the DNFBPs the questionnaires related to the National Risk Assessment 2020.
The answers to those questionnaires are one of the main axis in order to properly assess the risk exposure of the sectors concerned, as well as their vulnerability towards those ML/TF risks to which they might be exposed. Additionally, an informative note detailing the scope and purpose of the assessment has also been made available.

The exceptional schedule established by the communication of March 16, 2020 is no longer in force.
From today on, and according the official communiqué of the Public Service of December 18, 2019, the UIFAND public opening hours corresponding to the intensive summer schedule are from 8 am to 15 pm, up until September 9, 2020.
