The Andorran Official Gazette (BOPA) publishes Decree 268/2025, of 30-7-2025 on restrictive measures in relation to the conflict between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, which approves a new regulatory text and two annexes that repeal the Decree 491/2024 of 23-12-2024.

The Financial Intelligence Unit of Andorra (UIFAND) has signed several protocols of understanding with the Financial Intelligence Units (UIF) of Peru, Guatemala and Paraguay during the week of July 7, 2025, coinciding with the celebration of the 31st Plenary of the Egmont Group held in Luxembourg.
These agreements aim to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing, as well as to facilitate the secure, agile and efficient exchange of financial intelligence information between the signatory FIUs.
The signing of these protocols represents a firm step towards closer and more effective collaboration between the financial intelligence units of the different jurisdictions, thus strengthening the global mechanisms for the prevention and detection of illicit activities.

A new technical communiqué (CT-03/2025), regarding the update of FATF’s list on high-risk third countries, is now available in the "Applicable Technical Communiqués" section.
During 2024, the UIFAND conducted thematic inspections in the trust and company service providers sector, focusing on the following areas:
Identification and verification of the beneficial owner’s identity.
Searches in lists of individuals under international sanctions, and searches in public sources.
The findings from these inspections, along with a series of recommended actions, are outlined in a new informational note available in the Informative notes section.
A new technical communiqué (CT-02/2025), regarding the procedure to benefit from the exemption to submit an annual external audit on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, is now available in the "Applicable Technical Communiqués" section.
